Short answer
Most patients finance veneers. At Xiluet Smiles, 20 porcelain veneers cost $6,000, and as an example, $6,000 over 48 months at 9% APR is about $149 a month; rates and terms are set by the lender and depend on your approval. Five partners (Cherry, Sunbit, CareCredit, LendingClub and Affirm) pre-qualify you with a soft check that does not affect your credit score.

What 20 veneers cost per month
Start with the number that matters. Our 20-veneer package is $6,000, and it includes the veneers, professional cleaning, X-rays, the design preview, temporaries, delivery in 5 business days and a 5-year written warranty. Deep cleaning and procedures that are not veneers are quoted separately. As an illustration only, $6,000 over 48 months at 9% APR works out to about $149 a month. A shorter term means a higher monthly payment and less interest in total; a longer term means the reverse. Your real offer depends on the lender, your approval and the term you choose.
We work with five financing partners rather than one, because each has different approval criteria and different strengths. Your estimate arrives with the two or three most likely to approve you, and your coordinator lays the approved offers side by side so you compare monthly payment, term and total cost before you pick.
| Partner | Known for | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Cherry | Soft credit check | Pre-qualify in 60 seconds. Plans from 3 to 60 months. |
| Sunbit | High approval rate | Built for dental. Most applicants approved, decision in under a minute. |
| CareCredit | Health care card | Promotional financing on purchases over $200. |
| LendingClub | Fixed monthly payments | Personal loans up to $65,000, fixed rate, no prepayment penalty. |
| Affirm | No late fees | Transparent terms. Check eligibility without affecting your credit score. |
Financing is provided by third-party lenders, subject to credit approval. Terms vary by partner. The same five partners finance our Complete Restoration package at $7,000 and Full Mouth Reconstruction from $10,000.
You do not have to finance the whole amount. Some patients pay in full, some pay part from savings and finance the rest, and the $250 deposit that reserves your dates counts toward the total either way. The financed amount should be only what you need.
Soft check vs hard pull: will applying hurt my credit?
This is the question people are most embarrassed to ask, so here it is plainly. A soft check, also called a soft inquiry, lets a lender look at your credit file to pre-qualify you. It is not visible to other lenders and it does not change your score. Every one of our five partners pre-qualifies you this way, which means you can apply to two or three of them from your phone and compare real offers without any effect on your credit.
A hard pull, or hard inquiry, is what some lenders run once you accept an offer and sign a loan agreement. It is recorded on your file and can lower your score by a few points for a short time. The practical rule: pre-qualifying is free in every sense, so compare first. Before you sign, ask whether accepting triggers a hard inquiry. Your coordinator knows the answer for each partner.
- Soft check: pre-qualification, no effect on score, invisible to other lenders. All five partners use it.
- Hard pull: may happen when you accept an offer. Ask before signing.
- Applying to several partners: fine at the pre-qualification stage. Do it from your phone, in minutes.
Can you get veneers with bad credit?
Often, yes. The reason we work with five partners is that they do not all want the same borrower. Third-party reviews report that Sunbit approves roughly 87% of applicants, with scores from around 500 considered, while CareCredit typically looks for scores of about 660 or higher. We do not set those criteria and they change, but the spread is the point: a file that one lender declines, another may approve.
When your estimate arrives, your coordinator has already looked at which partners fit your situation and sends you to those first. If every partner declines, we tell you plainly rather than running you through five rejections. A $250 deposit reserves your dates once a plan is in place.
Two things that help regardless of score: apply with the same income and address details you use elsewhere, and do not open other new credit in the weeks before you apply. Neither is a trick. They just avoid the mismatches that cause automatic declines.
Insurance, HSA and FSA: what actually covers veneers
Dental insurance almost never pays for veneers, because insurers class them as cosmetic. Delta Dental's own guidance says as much. The exception is when the work is restorative rather than cosmetic: a crown on a broken or root-canalled tooth, for example, may be partly covered. If your case includes crowns, your itemized estimate separates them from the veneers so you can ask your plan.
HSA and FSA accounts are a different story. Some plan administrators allow them for veneers, usually when there is a restorative component, and some do not. The rules depend on your plan, not on us, so check with your administrator before you count on it. If you can use one, it is pre-tax money, which effectively lowers the price. Your written estimate from us is what most administrators ask for.

Five questions to ask any lender before you sign
Financing is only cheap if you understand the terms. These five questions catch nearly every surprise. Your coordinator can answer them for each of our partners, and any honest lender will too.
- Is the APR fixed for the whole term? A fixed rate means the monthly payment does not change.
- Is this deferred interest? Some promotional plans charge no interest if you pay in full by a deadline, but if any balance remains, interest is charged back to day one. Know the deadline.
- Is there a prepayment penalty? You should be able to pay off early without a fee.
- What are the late fees? Some partners charge none. Others do.
- What is the total cost? Monthly payment times number of months, minus $6,000, is what the financing costs you. Compare that number, not the monthly payment alone.
How it works at Xiluet, step by step
The whole financing process happens before you travel or book anything, and most of it happens on your phone.
- Your estimate arrives with options. Within 6 hours of sending your photos through the free photo evaluation, you get a written price and the two or three partners most likely to approve you.
- Apply with a soft check. Every partner pre-qualifies you without affecting your credit score. Apply to one, or several.
- Compare, then book. Your coordinator lays the approved offers side by side: monthly payment, term, total cost. You pick. Then we set your dates with a $250 deposit.
Prices shown are minimum fees. Your final fee is confirmed in writing after a doctor's evaluation, and I review every estimate before it goes out. Full details are on the financing page.
The monthly payment is the easy number to advertise. The one to compare is what the financing costs in total, and I would rather you see that before you decide than after.
Related questions
How much do veneers cost per month?
As an example, $6,000 over 48 months at 9% APR is about $149 a month. Rates and terms are set by the lender and depend on your approval, so your real offer may be higher or lower.
Does applying for veneer financing affect my credit score?
Pre-qualifying does not. All five of our partners use a soft check. Some run a hard inquiry once you accept an offer, which can lower your score by a few points for a short time. Ask before you sign.
Can I get veneers with bad credit?
Often, yes. Our five partners have different approval criteria, and your coordinator sends you to the ones most likely to approve you. If none do, we tell you plainly.
Does dental insurance cover veneers?
Almost never, because veneers are classed as cosmetic. Crowns on damaged teeth are sometimes partly covered, and your itemized estimate separates them so you can ask your plan.
Can I use an HSA or FSA for veneers?
Sometimes. It depends on your plan administrator, and it is more likely when the work has a restorative component. Check with your plan and use your written estimate from us as documentation.
Can I combine a deposit, HSA money and financing?
Yes. Many patients pay the $250 deposit, use HSA or FSA funds for part, and finance the rest. Your coordinator sets it up so the financed amount is only what you need.
